WebFakturzysta
WebFakturzysta is an Internet application that supports the operations of a small business. Its main feature is the possibility to issue and store VAT invoices. The invoice generator has a related client data base and a module that generates guarantee cards. All the documents created in the application are PDF documents. Unusual approach to such a function and creating an application based on a website interface means that the application is useful when users need quick access to data modified by many people, often at the same time. It may prove helpful, for example, to a group of sales representatives who issue invoices and use the data base in many places simultaneously.
The application is based on PHP, JavaScript and HTML by means of a Smart library. The data base is PostgreSQL, however, the target solution is ODBC interface which will enable to separate the application from a particular data base operating system.
NetMonitor
Currently NetMonitor is a preliminary outline of an application used to monitor local networks. It will be installed on computers serving as Internet portals; it will help to see the condition of particular computers within the network and display the results in the browser window. Its useful option is notification of emergencies (eg. computer switched off where it should be on) via a text message or e-mail.
AdmPanel
This application, as can be inferred from its name, is an administration panel targeted at providers of host services. It helps manage a data base of clients and their assigned services and facilitates billing by automatic calculation of payments due for services provided. It also improves communication with the client by generating automatic reminders and information on services.
Clip
Clip is an e-learning platform that facilitates teaching foreign languages and is targeted mainly at university teachers. The application is divided into three modules: administrative, teacher's and student's one. The division reflects user groups. Clip is being created by the company IOKI S.C. Computer classroom in Primary School no 3
It is a computer classroom in a primary school with ten workstations for students (however, the number can be increased up to twenty) and teachers. Every station is equipped with two net connections and its own electric circuit protected by an independent fuse. Information flow in the school is controlled by Linux server which also has a 6 MB connection with the Internet. The classroom is equipped with a multi-media projector and screen. Thanks to installing wireless access point in the classroom, the whole school has obtained wireless access to the Internet. The server cabinet placed in the classroom incorporates other workstations in the school into the net (like the office, the staff room, the management office, the library). CCTV monitoring system - MEGAWAT Sp. z o.o.
It is a CCTV monitoring system created for Megawat sp. z o.o., which supplies heat to the town of Rogoźno. The system is not very wide, as all the cameras are placed around the company's premises and control access to strategic rooms.
After two years of smooth operation of the system the company decided to modernize it. Black and white cameras were replaced by colour ones. Wireless CCTV monitoring system - PWiK Oborniki
The CCTV system installed in Przedsiębiorstwo Wodociągów i Kanalizacji (Water and Sewage Company) in Oborniki covers quite a large area, about 8 hectares. The size of the area forces the use of wireless video transmission. The system consists of 4 cameras and a computer recording system. A large number of trees and uneven surface of the land created many problems when assuring stable channels of wireless communication, however, the system works smoothly. Monitoring system in ZPH Stal
A small system monitoring the yard of the company that deals in smelting products. The area is covered by two cameras, wire-connected with a computer recording images in the office. An interesting development of the project is a parallel wireless transmission from the recording device to the owners' home, which makes it possible to monitor the yard on their TV set.
CCTV monitoring and trespassing recording system - Aquabellis Sp. z o.o.
Four-camera monitoring and trespassing recording system was installed in thirteen rooms of a waste treatment plant owned by Aquabellis sp. z o.o. The project united wireless transmission of visual signal from the cameras placed around the building with a wired system of movement detectors. Inwentura - application by ANEKS sp. z o.o.
This is a mobile application, the version with a web interface that supports stock-taking. Mobile terminals with an integrated bar code reader count (e.g. by scanning the bar code) the amount of units in a warehouse, while the central server generates reports of expected stock levels.
